The Sarathan Pod, #001

Hi!

This is Kara, the resident "recording engineer" for The Sarathan Pod. In other words, once a week I get the pleasure of listening to the banter of our host, Julie O. What I can't get over is the fact that I get paid to do this! Wow. Life is good.

Anyway, we figure it's good to get it out in the open that we're just human here. This first podcast has its share of verbal flops and recording glitches. We didn't have a whole lot of time to polish this performance, but I suspect the humor value will more than make up for any perceived lack of professionalism.

I hope you discover an artist that really tickles your fancy! And I don't just say that because these are our artists. It's my hope that the music we play will help enrich your life in some way. Maybe it's naive of me, but I like to think there's more to this business than raking in money.

But hey, I really love my job and if you want to buy our artists' music and help keep this indie label alive, by all means, do so. *wink*

Today we are serving a fine selection of pop, jazz, and chill songs. If you're a lover of down-tempo music, this may be the podcast for you.

Featured Songs:

"Monkey," by Two Loons for Tea, from their album "Nine Lucid Dreams"
"Sorry," By Abra Moore, from her album "On The Way"
"Sunset Room," by Two Loons for Tea, from their album "Nine Lucid Dreams"
